Where can I buy organic food?
From a nutritional perspective what is organic food?
Organic food is food which has had little chemical intervention in the planting, growing, harvesting, and packaging, prior to consumption. It complies with the standards of organic farming practices and is the type of food our forefathers would have eaten. Nutritionally it does contain higher levels of nutrients, but more importantly the body’s ability to process the existing nutrients is easier than processing foods which have been sprayed with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and the like.
Finding good quality organic food is easier than you think. Here is a list of places Claire recommends for organic groceries to make sure you are keeping your body as healthy as possible:

The organic food community in Australia is growing every year. Supporting local farmers, shop owners, and food producers is important to the development of the industry, and beneficial to the supply and cost of organic food. It may seem expensive to buy organic, but these are the little guys that need our help now, so in the next 10-15 years the cost comes down and organic food becomes more available to you.
If you own a health food store or have a regular organic one stop shop please leave a comment below. I would love to come and check it out!

How can we ever repay you for sharing this checklist with us all? Severely, do you accept donations or some thing equivalent?
Happy to share the love Christia. Often people are searching for where to buy their tasty and organic food from, but just don’t know where to start looking. Glad you like it! Your comment alone is good enough. Please have a look at the other blog posts and see if there is anything else that you are interested in.
